E-merge  Online Community-Media Sessions

The SABENS Group unites projects with moderated online sessions.   An online "gated" community reads, extends ideas and communicates on topics suggested by current events, digital tools and interests within the community of practice.   This design becomes a blended domain engagement which SABENS defines as an E-Merge.

E-Merge participants bridge informal and formal practice through digital community reading and activities.   The design unites the 5-E (NASA) informal science project approach with literature cirles and other formal education literature designs.

The SABENS Group has a history of designing online support for extended STEM discussion with youth and also educators.  Established in 2005, The League of Online Professionals are the moderators within the E-Merge system.
