STEM Literacy
The SABENS Group is committed to the integration of the domains of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
Our process is to acknowledge STEM Literacy as a unification of text, data and visual languages.
In 2009, we initiated a pilot project, funded by Math Science Partnership funding, STEM Literacy Community of Practice.
3-I. The three “I”s represent:
1. I nterest-driven 2 Inquiry-based 3 Integrated practice
This approach encourages teacher to integrate digital resources and develop projects to support their interests and created "STEM Literacy Community of Practice."
Members continue to expand activities and projects to practice with emerging digital communication.
