STEM Literacy
The SABENS Group is committed to the integration of the domains of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
Our process is to acknowledge STEM Literacy as a unification of text, data and visual languages.
In 2009, we initiated a pilot project, funded by Math Science Partnership funding, STEM Literacy Community of Practice.
3-I. The three “I”s represent: Interest-driven, Inquiry-based and Integrated practice
Members continue to expand activities and projects to practice with emerging digital communication. This is the core of the STEM Literacy Community of Practice.,
The 3-I PD creates a positive engagement for learning, empowering responsibility along with interest. This validates the importance of their experiences and skills.
